THE SERIES

This book is part of the GREEN series: games and books to explore and appreciate nature and build an eco-sustainable future. Workshop in Nature: the 4 Seasons adapts to every context, offering opportunities for learning and creativity in every corner of the natural world.

Alongside Workshop in Nature: the 4 Seasons is the volume I explore nature, created to transform educational experiences into transformative memories, enriching our lives and cultivating a lasting love for the Earth.

STRUCTURE OF THE BOOK:

The volume is divided into four parts, each dedicated to a season in which various experiences to do together with children are collected. For each experience there are:

  • Introductory reflections to subsequently delve deeper into what is described in the workshops;
  • suggestions for creating alternatives to the proposals;
  • skills and competences that arise during the performance of activities;
  • the materials necessary to carry out the activities;
  • the procedure in detail for each laboratory.

THE AUTHOR

Manuela Ruaben is a teacher in Trentino Alto Adige and she lives at the foot of Mount Bondone. She has been a trainer since 2009 and is a scholar and expert in outdoor education. For more than thirty years, she has been sharing her days with children, planning, experimenting and getting excited with them every day.
