Studying Effectively at University

Studying Effectively at University

Studying Effectively at University is designed to help students build a solid, personalised study method and face academic challenges with greater confidence. The book offers a clear, step-by-step pathway that addresses every key dimension of university study — from cognitive and strategic skills to emotional balance and motivation.

Through 10 practical modules, students learn how to manage time, take effective notes, understand and process texts, strengthen memory, revise efficiently and prepare for exams, with dedicated sections on STEAM subjects, emotions and resilience. The approach is inclusive and flexible, with particular attention to students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and Special Educational Needs, offering adaptable tools for different learning profiles.

The volume also includes support materials, assessment tools and downloadable online resources — worksheets, in-depth content and practical guides — making it a valuable companion both for structured learning paths and independent study at home.
