Match the links and test your luck
Paolo Bianchi

An engaging game that puts visual memory, intuition, and associative thinking to the test.
Based on a “push-your-luck” dynamic, the game invites players to reveal illustrated tiles and find connections between them, linking them to one of the 8 available categories:
The game is suitable for players aged 8 and up, for 1 to 6 participants; it is perfect for training attention, creativity, and decision-making skills.

TEACHING OBJECTIVES
How to play
The aim of the game is to collect as many subject tiles as possible before the game ends.
Players set up the game by shuffling 30 subject tiles and 6 X tiles to form a 6×6 grid. Each player receives one category tile face down; the others are placed face up in the centre.
The youngest starts, flipping subject tiles one by one (up to five) or stopping at any time. If an X tile appears, the turn ends. If an X and a danger tile appear together, no associations can be made and all tiles are covered again. Otherwise, the player identifies a shared feature among the revealed tiles and links it to one of the visible categories, keeping the matching subject tiles.
Used characteristics can’t be repeated!
The game ends when only the six X tiles remain; the winner is the player with the most tiles (or most danger tiles in case of a tie).
