The volume accompanies therapists, parents and teachers in the fascinating world of origami and guides them through a game proposal that allows children from 5 years old to develop psychomotor and cognitive functions. The playful material presented follows the models of neurodevelopment: the creation of a gradual series of origami models favors the development of fine motor skills, in terms of dissociated use of fingers, bimanual coordination, precision and fluidity of movements.21×29,7cm

The volume is divided into three parts. The first one is theoretical and provides a general presentation of the project and describes the potential of the practice of origami, from which the materials proposed here were developed. The second and third ones are operational and present the choices and models adopted in the various activities in detail: the guiding history and characteristics of each origami model are illustrated, respecting their progressively increasing order of complexity. Concrete examples are provided through the different proposed procedural sequences.
