Conceived as a brief compendium of anthropology applied to pedagogical and didactic activity, Workshops from around the world helps educators and teachers to introduce an intercultural and anthropological perspective in primary school classes, in order to draw children to the wonder of cultural exchange.

The book is divided into two parts:

  • part one is theoretical and is devoted to the illustration of the foundations of the subject and to strategies that can be used to integrate interculturality in didactic practice;
  • part two is more practical and contains material and tips for recreational activities, debates and processes of reflection on the big topics in anthropology (food, clothing, language…).

Special attention is given to problematisation, to the rediscovery of the day to day: because looking at the world through an «anthropological perspective» does not just mean learning something you didn’t know before but also looking at what you know with fresh eyes.
