This book presents a path that guides teachers in the exploration and implementation of station-based teaching in lower secondary schools, a methodology that allows students to learn the same topic, but divided into small groups and in different ways.

With simple and engaging language, the authors provide methodological indications, advice and concrete examples for creating station-based teaching that allows students to work on activities that stimulate various skills and competences. In this way, they will be able to best express their potential by tackling a topic with diversified study methods.

Inside the book there is a station-based itinerary on the Divine Comedy, as well as numerous online materials easily adaptable to all disciplines, to meet the needs of each class group.

Teaching stations
Teaching stations is positioned within the broader framework of open teachingcentered on the concept of “autonomy”, in which the teacher plans a series of activities and each pupil becomes the protagonist of their own learning.
With this methodology, many different approaches can be proposed for learning the contents, alternating hands-on activities with games and classic exercises on worksheets, in predefined “stage” circuits.
