Abstract

The Inclusive ABC Book introduces the alphabet through a range of different communication styles, designed to promote a truly inclusive approach. Each page features a letter of the alphabet in uppercase, lowercase and cursive, linked to a word represented in written, graphic and photographic form, and completed by the corresponding letter in Braille and Italian Sign Language (LIS).

The instruction booklet offers a rich variety of games and activities tailored to the tool, which includes:

A practical manual full of useful suggestions;
Over 150 printable colour activity sheets, combining traditional exercises with targeted support for a range of special educational needs;
Four decks of 26 cards (alphabet letters, LIS signs, Braille letters, and movement-based letters) to be used in games and exercises that develop cognitive, perceptual, sensory and motor skills.
