A country called Listen-Land

The volume offers an un innovative and engaging programme in 15 stages of increasing difficulty to help nursery school children reach specific objectives in comprehension and oral expression as well as developing the ability to pay attention. Each stage comes with a series of practical illustrated worksheets with games and activities to be carried out individually or in groups. The programme areas develop listening to:

• instructions – for colouring, miming, moving and remembering;
• narrative texts – for understanding plots and recalling sequences;
• informative texts – for learning new words and inferring;
• «different» texts – for developing pleasure in listening and textual sensitivity.

In addition to the myriad of material in the volume, the online resources contain a memory game, 3 bingo boards and 60 bingo cards to play and consolidate in an entertaining way what has been learnt.
