The result of a clinical research project created by the collaboration between the University of Pisa and IRCCS – Stella Maris Foundation, the volume proposes two mindfulness programmes designed specifically for children of developmental age with behavioural difficulties, and for their parents. Each programme includes meditation activities, discussions and moments of play, moments of formal and informal practice to be carried out in small groups, and at home with the family. An Appendix completes the manual with an illustrated study on yoga practices to be offered to children and a handbook on meditation practices aimed at parents to help them cope with stress and fatigue, and more generally, to learn a new way of living their emotions with curiosity.
