A game for imagining and telling
Created and illustrated by Giulia Orecchia, one of the most famous Italian illustrators, “A thousand and one stories” is a simple box which has the power to give life to an entire universe, thanks to its contents which stimulate creativity and imagination.
Since its publication in October 2017 up to today, “A thousand and one stories” has sold 15.000 copies and it has become one of the most requested Erickson’s titles, whose rights have been sold to three countries (Russia, Romania and Finland). At the moment, there are 13 different countries that have the evaluation process ongoing (France, Greece, Slovenia, China, Germany, Mexico, Korea, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Serbia, Taiwan, Bulgaria). Part of the success of this title is due to the beautiful illustrations created by Giulia Orecchia, the very little adaptation work it requires for the translation and its great versatility which allows many different games to be played and invented.
The map below shows the countries where translation rights have already been sold and the ones in which the series is under evaluation.
