Podcast your English 1
Podcast your English 1 is designed as a holiday workbook for Year 7 students.
The protagonist, Sara, an Italian Chinese girl, accompanies readers through six episodes: by listening to her podcast, you learn to work on listening, reading, writing and speaking in an integrated and progressive way.
Each episode starts with an idiomatic sentence from the spoken language, addresses a topic related to everyday life and ends with a self-assessment section. The final goal is to record your own podcast — with your smartphone, in English, talking about yourself.
The book is divided into six episodes:

The protagonist, Amir, a boy of Indian origin, accompanies readers through six episodes: by listening to his podcast, you learn to work on listening, reading, writing and speaking in an integrated and progressive way. The goal broadens from traveling to the ideal city to the topic of online responsibility, reflecting the growth of young people and the challenges of their age. Each episode starts with an idiomatic sentence from the spoken language and ends with a self-evaluation section, leading up to the final goal: recording your own podcast in English.

The author
Chiara Soldi holds a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures and is an English teacher in lower secondary school. She specialises in teaching methods and learning strategies for pupils with special educational needs and is the author of English-language educational materials.
