TEACHING OBJECTIVES

  • Stimulate creativity
  • Encourage collaboration and healthy competition
  • Improve language skills

How to play

Players, divided into teams, must invent short, meaningful micro-stories using an exact number of words:

  • 40 in the first round
  • 30 in the second
  • 20 in the third

Before starting, each team draws a certain number of compulsory words from the bag (4, 3 or 2 depending on the round) that must be included in the story. In turn, each member says only one word, which the Writer notes down on the sheet, without any discussion or prior agreement.

A Keeper checks that the rules are followed. At the end of each round, the teacher awards points:

  • 1 for originality
  • 1 for correct use of the compulsory words
  • 2 for syntactic accuracy
  • 3 for the exact number of words

The team with the highest total score wins.
