Words in a Row is a language game designed to turn group work into a creative and stimulating experience. Suitable for children and young people in primary and lower secondary school, the game supports the development of language skills through the collaborative writing of micro-stories. It’s an activity that blends logical thinking, imagination, and teamwork — ideal for enriching vocabulary, improving syntax, and strengthening group cohesion.

The goal is simple: create meaningful sentences with a set number of words while including randomly drawn “mandatory” words. Participants, divided into teams, face three rounds of creative writing: one with 40 words, one with 30, and one with 20. In each round, they must include an increasing number of randomly drawn words from a bag, making every story a fun challenge of originality and coherence.
