The Smartbook of Math Rules

The Smartbook of Math Rules

The Smartbook of Maths Rules is a resource designed for upper secondary school students. It presents and explains set theory, algebra, geometry, and statistics in a clear and structured way.

The graphic layout is simple and effective, featuring anticipatory maps, diagrams, and other visual tools to support both the understanding and memorisation of a mathematical statement (called the “RULE”) and its practical application, with examples and step-by-step problem-solving (called the “PROCEDURE”).

Its compact and user-friendly format makes it easy to always keep on hand and to quickly find answers, thanks to the well-organised structure and clear division of topics.

How to use it

The “RULE” pages are organised in a consistent format, using specific visual elements: boxes containing the statement of the rule, examples, worked exercises, geometric figures, “Keep in mind” boxes, diagrams, and tables.

The calculation procedures are presented on the “PROCEDURE” pages. These pages include both problems to solve by applying the rule introduced on the previous page and the explanations of the steps involved.
