A simple and effective tool for encouraging socio-emotional skills in children between 3 and 6 years old. Considering four basic emotions (joy, sadness, anger, fear), 5 skills are investigated:

recognize the facial expression of emotions;
identify emotions based on body signals;
recognize the emotions associated with events;
coping strategies;
metacognitive competence.

The book proposes protocols and illustrated colour charts, useful for teachers to administer the questionnaire. It also proposes a practical guide for the interpretation of results.
