Q-PAD, a new edition which has been updated on the basis of the most recent scientific research and revised from a graphic point of view, is an original Italian questionnaire aimed at the broad-spectrum evaluation of psychopathology and the measurement of the level of adaptation and the more general state of well-being in adolescence. Unlike other tools born in the strictly psychiatric field, its use can be extended to many different and not necessarily clinical contexts, such as: school, community, counseling, orientation, research, etc. Its short length (81 items), the simplicity of administration and the clarity of the items have been specially designed to adapt to adolescents who generally face these types of tests with distrust and little motivation.

Validated on a sample of 1454 subjects between the ages of 14 and 19, the questionnaires are easy to score and allow for a quick interpretation of the results that give indications on the level of discomfort in the 9 areas investigated: Anxiety, Depression, Body dissatisfaction, Substance abuse, Interpersonal conflicts, Family problems, Uncertainty about the future, Psychosocial risks, Self-esteem and well-being.
