Helping a child’s emotional growth seems to be more difficult today than it was in the past. Aggressiveness, lack of motivation, lack of self-control, little respect for rules, low tolerance for frustrations, bullying, are only some of the problems teachers face in the classroom. What can schools do? They can help prevent or reduce the incidence of these problematic behaviors through an education to emotions. The idea is to create emotion education activities that can be integrated into the regular curricular teaching. This is the book’s aim. Children write their feelings in their emotion diary and then share them with their classmates and teachers, a wonderful way to open themselves up to others.
