Yet, sports can become a tool of exclusion for those who  fail to reach certain achievements. <em>I\u2019m  Playing Too<\/em>, designed for <strong>physical  education and support teachers in primary and secondary schools, is inspired by  the baskin principles and is structured into 10 Learning Units<\/strong>&nbsp; which illustrate in detail how to <strong>transform sports and movement activities  into inclusive games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"maggio23\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.erickson.international\/en\/catalogue\/disability-and-autism\/motor-skills\/im-playing-too\/\">Find out more!<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"nome-cognome-autore\">BOOK OBJECTIVES<\/p>\n<p class=\"maggio23\">The activities  in this volume are proposed as a response aimed at the necessity of <strong>concrete inclusion through motor practice.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe main  objectives of the suggested programme are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"maggio23\">\n<li>increase opportunities for social inclusion  while respecting diversity through the use of sports;<\/li>\n<li>ensure the improvement of the physical  efficiency and psychophysical well-being of the students thanks to continuity  of the proposed activity;<\/li>\n<li>develop and enhance the potential and autonomy  of students while respecting the evolutionary process, promoting self-knowledge  and skills and improving self-esteem;<\/li>\n<li>encourage socialization between the different  components of the school and territory, consolidating the integration of  students with disabilities within a group and sports club, and facilitating the  transition to an activity outside the school world;<\/li>\n<li>prevent early abandonment of sports activities,  promoting maturation of skills related to health education, prevention and the  promotion of healthy lifestyles;<\/li>\n<li>teach behaviours regarding one&#8217;s own safety and  that of others, including those with various types of disabilities;<\/li>\n<li>stimulate significant reflections on issues related to the world of diversity, to build lifelong education that contrasts  with forms of discrimination and intolerance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"nome-cognome-autore\">STRUCTURE OF THE BOOK<\/p>\n<p class=\"maggio23\">Following the theoretical introduction to the proposed  activities, which describes the <strong>pedagogical  principles underlying the project<\/strong> and the fundamental teaching strategies  and methodologies used, the volume is organized into <strong>10 Learning Units<\/strong>.&nbsp; Starting  from &#8220;traditional&#8221; sports, commonly practiced in schools, not only  <strong>adaptations are elaborated<\/strong>, but <strong>real inclusive, dynamic and flexible games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<img src=\"http:\/\/www.erickson.international\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/BASE_1000_Gioco_anch\u2019io_1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"img-responsive\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- END ROW --><br \/>\n<!-- START ROW --><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<p class=\"maggio23\">The transformation activity of the games was organized in  Learning Units with the <strong>aim of involving  each student with a fragile and non-equitous condition<\/strong>, making them feel  useful and valuable in achieving the group\u2019s end results.
