A fun, illustrated story and a series of original activities to learn how to successfully manage impulsiveness in children aged 6 to 11!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Less punishment and more rewards <\/em>explains why punishing your child\u2019s impulsive behaviours is useless, and instead proposes a simple story to talk to children with fragility in self-control<\/strong> of the many ways our brain functions that sometimes tend to take the form of defects but which, if properly managed, can turn into strengths.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

STRUCTURE AND CONTENTS<\/p>\n

The book is divided into 4 chapters <\/strong>and each chapter is divided into 6 sections<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  • section 1<\/strong> in each chapter \u2013 Instruc<\/em><\/strong>tions for use <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 is dedicated to parents; <\/li>\n
  • section 2<\/strong> presents the actual story <\/strong>about the four main \u201cmegahero\u201d characters, to read together with your children;<\/li>\n
  • in section 3<\/strong> \u2013 Practicing my superpowers<\/em> \u2013 some practical <\/strong>self-reflection activities dedicated to children<\/strong> are proposed;<\/li>\n
  • section 4<\/strong> \u2013 Now it\u2019s our turn! <\/em>\u2013 suggests some activities to be done together, parents and children<\/strong>;<\/li>\n
  • section 5<\/strong> \u2013 Let me think a bit <\/em>\u2013 and sec<\/strong>tion 6<\/strong> \u2013 Dear parents\u2026<\/em> \u2013  contain some questions <\/strong>addressed, respectively, to children and parents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Finally, in the Appendix<\/strong> there are some guide questions which are useful to support the child’s reflection<\/strong> during some of the proposed activities.<\/p>\n
