The project consists of gathering a series of \u201crecipes\u201d with many ingredients,  preparation times and step to follow, for teachers who want to use <strong>innovative didactics<\/strong>, starting from  tools and resources that they already have or are easy to find.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.erickson.international\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/848x400_TINKERING.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"img-responsive\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<p class=\"nome-cognome-autore\">TINKERING, CODING AND MAKING: WHAT ARE THEY?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<p class=\"maggio23\"><em>Tinkering,  coding <\/em>and <em>making <\/em>are  three engaging <strong>teaching practices,  applicable at school and at home<\/strong>, to guide children in carrying out  activities that combine technology, science and art. These practices are  essential <strong>to developing socio-cognitive  processes, training the imagination, empowering <\/strong>and <strong>implementing forms of creativity <\/strong>that are the basis of the fundamental  savoir-faire of the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p class=\"maggio23\"><strong><em>Tinkering<\/em><\/strong>, or <strong><em>fiddling around<\/em><\/strong>, is a  moment where <strong>creativity and  experimentation are given free rein<\/strong>, putting hands-on activities at the  centre. The <em>tinkering<\/em> activities are  based on <strong>common, recycled and recovered materials<\/strong>,  and develop skills such as: analyzing, maintaining concentration, knowing how  to work independently, recognizing one&#8217;s own limits and those of the situations  one is confronted with, evaluating different hypotheses, making devices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"maggio23\"><strong><em>Coding<\/em><\/strong>, or <strong><em>programming<\/em><\/strong> (even only when  using a sketchbook), is an <strong>activity that  allows the development of computational thinking<\/strong>, which consists of  recognizing patterns, breaking down complex problems into simple problems,  developing algorithms, finding solutions and generalizing them. Through <em>coding<\/em>, we learn the multiple functions of  the computer and become familiar with the <strong>interaction  between man and machine<\/strong>, protagonist of the near future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"maggio23\"><strong><em>Making<\/em><\/strong>, or <strong><em>giving life to a common project<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>creating it<\/strong>, favours collaboration,  communication, and the development of critical thinking skills. By bringing together  information, knowledge and ideas, the <em>makers<\/em> produce original and innovative products (objects, tools, materials) to meet different  needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<p class=\"nome-cognome-autore\">CONTENTS<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-lg-12 col-md-12 col-sm-12 col-xs-12\">\n<p class=\"maggio23\">In each  volume of the series, <strong>8 activities <\/strong>are  suggested, divided equally into two groups: <strong><em>plugged<\/em><\/strong>, or rather connected  to technology or <em>devices<\/em>, and <strong><em>unplugged<\/em><\/strong>, or disconnected from any type of technology. For each activity, <strong>photographs<\/strong> and all <strong>necessary instructions<\/strong> are provided: <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"maggio23\">\n<li><strong>target skills<\/strong>;<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>preparation <\/strong>and<strong> activity times<\/strong>;<strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>the teacher\u2019s
