  exercises for recognizing the quantity <\/strong>to carry out indicating the cents<\/p>\n

THE ACTIVITIES TO PERFORM WITH THE POSTER<\/strong><\/p>\n

The poster becomes a working tool which substitutes the classic abacus dots with coins that make up the euro. Children, starting from kindergarten, can begin the path of discovery<\/strong> of cents with the possibility to perceive their value as concrete and real items on the poster.  
\nThe euro\u2019s safe<\/strong> includes game suggestions<\/strong> in which children simulate making purchases by indicating the coins in the closet-safe, integrating this with the tool.  It is possible to glue real cents to the poster by using glue or adhesive, and organize a buying and selling market.  With the activities proposed with the poster, addition and subtraction are not used, instead focussing simply on quantity identification<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The Maxi reading keyboard<\/p>\n

Learn to read by typing the letters on the colourful poster <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The maxi reading keyboard<\/strong> allows children to learn to read in a systematic way, \u201ctyping\u201d the letters just like on the keyboard of a computer, trying to compose the words suggested by the pictures along the bottom of the strip.  Available to the whole class, the wall poster strip provides a panoramic view of the alphabet and its magical correspondence between the capital and lowercase letters, and between phonemes and graphemes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
