Smart Poster — Sharp Eyes… is a complex project that offers a variety of materials which are useful for creating fun games for kindergarten children. Through the use of these games, which are of the “seek and find” nature where an understanding and description of illustrated situations is practiced, attention, observation, visual memory and linguistic enrichment skills are practiced and consolidated.  These skills are the basic skills precursors of scholastic learning.

The proposed games, divided into three levels of difficulty, can be played in small groups and customized from time to time to the needs of children who are given simple roles with the aim of collaborating in order to carry out the activity.

The SMART POSTER line
Erickson’s new editorial line SMART POSTER
is aimed at all scholastic levels, from kindergarten and up, to make a static tool like a poster into something active.  Each Smart Poster consists of a real poster and a volume of workshop activities that the teacher can carry out as group or individual activities.

Smart Poster — Sharp Eyes... is composed of the following materials:

  • The book - A brief methodology guide which indicates how to use the poster and make it interactive through the various game proposals presented using a group learning logic, all the more effective because it involves the diversified abilities of each child.

  • The poster - The poster has two proposed illustrations, City Surroundings and Home Surroundings, which are designed to train and enhance visual-spatial skills and provide linguistic enrichments.

  • 12 observation folders - Illustrated on the front and back with different parts of the poster.

  • 116 cards - illustrated cards, to be cut out, they enrich the suggested games and refer to parts of the settings or individual elements present in the poster. The cards represent the "question part of the game", in the sense that above the card there is the request input (question) of the activity itself.

  • Dice and spinner – These are elements to be cut out and assembled, which enrich the types of games proposed in the guide.
