Democratic citizenship and civic education

A theoretical-practical volume for secondary school, designed to organize a citizenship education programme in the classroom and experiment with civic and social skills.

Democratic Citizenship and Civic Education offers a series of activities and materials that help to recognize, in concrete daily experiences, the issue of citizenship and the meaning of being a citizen and to increase knowledge of numerous articles of the Italian Constitution.

The programme includes:

• classroom activities managed in a playful and creative way, with methodologies and approaches adapted to the age of the students;
• practical exercises and field work, useful for understanding the issues in which the concept of citizenship is expressed, such as belonging, rights and duties and participation
