A ship full of… Doodles, shapes and mazes is a book designed for children ages 5 to 7 years, full of entertaining colourful illustrations, games, pattern drawings, and pre-writing activities that support the development of school prerequisites.

THE BOOK

Mina, Rigo and Capitan Lupo di Mare would like to organize a surprise party for Doodle cat’s first birthday! But, to succeed, they must find 10 animal friends hidden on 5 continents: are you ready to accompany them amongst jumping kangaroos and colorful fish? Children aged 4-5 will have fun with entertaining games and activities, such as colouring, paths, mazes and drawings, while they search for special friend stickers to bring to the party.  At the same time, they will be able to develop and consolidate some skills and competences in a fun way.

The Stylus spaceship crashed, and 10 alien monsters are lost in space. Together with Mina, Rigo and Scribble the cat, the children must help Captain Lapis recover his team.

In each continent, children will practice a particular skill through play and learn to:

• Become familiar with the space around them;
• Orient themselves in time;
• Perceive shapes and their body structure;
• Increase attention span and concentration;
• Relax and have fun;
• Develop hand eye coordination and grapho-motor skills.

At the end of each exercise, the children will earn an animal sticker, to be placed on the ship at the end of the book, so that when the crew is complete, they can celebrate little Doodle’s birthday!

AUDIENCE

The book is intended for children aged 4 and 5 years, who can complete the activities autonomously at home or at school.
