Ready, steady… STOP!

What do you think of when you stop at a red light? Usually, hurry makes us impatient, and we rarely stop to observe what is moving around us.

Imagine a traffic light that unexpectedly stops on red, causing the city to halt during a hectic workday. This is the topic of the illustrated book: a rhyming story about how an ordinary situation can turn into an unexpected possibility. A play-book full of details to discover to stimulate listening and observation, curious situations to develop imagination and creativity, sensations, sounds and scents (!) to light up all 5 senses.

A magical illustrated book, dedicated to children from 3 to 6 years old, more than a meter long and that lights up in the dark, revealing unusual details and giving rise to new stories…

The special accordion format of the book allows children to handle, open, and fold it, thus developing tactile skills. Visual skills, on the other hand, are trained through the observation of colourful and detailed illustrations, more than a metre long and that glow in the dark, thanks to a special luminescent ink, revealing new curious objects and characters.

The book is aimed at children aged 3 to 6, and created for practicing multiple types of activities, like:

  • receptive, through listening to the story and looking at the pictures;
  • constructive, because it becomes an object to be manipulated and used as a scenario for new stories;
  • imaginative, as it stimulates the imagination and creativity of the very young.
