Specifically designed for children with learning and language disabilities or with autistic spectrum disorders, the book can also be used with all those children who simply have a hard time understanding abstract thinking.
The volume presents a wide variety of resources designed to facilitate the acquisition of the concept of time and time measurement (days, weeks, months, and years) and offers suggestions on how to teach children to read the clock.
In particular, the book employs four tools: a personalized weekly plan allows children to highlight the appointments for each day marking them with colored stickers.; the yearly plan shows the succession of days, weeks and months and helps children correctly mark  holidays and other celebrations: the time boxes are a place in which the traces of the days, months and years can be collected; finally, there is a toy clock with its different components.
